How It All Started
When I first met Dinesh Mathew he was looking for something new and different for his future. He was interested in starting his own business while staying in Corporate America a few more years. He had some concerns about starting his own business too soon: ensuring adequate healthcare, financial security, and retirement were primary considerations to ensure his family needs were met.
How Coaching Helped
Dinesh was focused on securing another role in Corporate America and wasn’t sure he could keep an open mind to explore entrepreneurial ventures while he was looking for another job. Coaching gave him the confidence to consider options beyond the job market. He needed to get in the mindset – he needed to be pushed to think about other things. By challenging his assumptions, he became excited about exploring possibilities.
We worked together through a series of questions and stories to uncover his strong transferable skills. He showed strong business acumen to be a business owner. Through coaching he was able to gain clarity on his short- and long-term goals, specifically related to income, lifestyle, wealth and equity. Dinesh came to the realization he could be entrepreneurial while keeping a position in Corporate America.
Exploring Franchise Businesses
Dinesh and his wife Evelyn were skeptical at first. They had never considered franchise businesses before and had never heard about an absentee investor model. They started to explore three different business models as a possible means of generating a passive revenue stream.
Eventually they realized they could have an investment solution, totally on the side, that could be managed virtually from anywhere. Their focus became laser focused on a business model that would allow them to be an investor in the beginning, and then after a few years, he could take over running it if he wanted. This option was never something that had crossed their path before.
The Journey of Discovery
With encouragement and support from his coach, he started considering investment options, time commitments, funding strategies, and associated timelines. Learning about ways to fund a small business and connections to financial strategists was particularly helpful for Dinesh.
Coaching kept him accountable to his goals and associated timelines. Dinesh found the perfect business model to meet his needs with Fetch! Pet Care.
As a pet owner himself, it was a line of business he understood very well. It also allowed him to be an absentee investor by hiring a general manager to oversee daily operations while keeping a role in Corporate America. Here’s how this journey unfolded through Dinesh’s own words:
Amy has provided me great insights, especially when it comes to considering entrepreneurial opportunities to differentiate my earning potential and income streams. Over the last couple of months she has practiced patience in meeting me where I was, listening to me and helping me really gain clarity on my strengths. Through her role as a coach, she has guided me through an exploration of possibilities with an open mind, all while moving at a comfortable pace of discovery that was all about education, information, and awareness. As a result, I’ve been looking at some entrepreneurial ventures that have really allowed me to differentiate my earning potential. I recommend Amy to anyone who is considering any income or career transitions!
Happy Client

Through his journey of discovery, he reached a point of clarity that starting a Fetch! Pet Care franchise business was the right fit to help him achieve his goals.
